Thumbs up Espeirl vs. Tein S tech springs

How you doing guys im still trying to decide wich of the two to go for haven't found much help here... i have all specs but no testimonials. are Espeirls too low? for DD S?
how is the aligment on these? can it get aligned with OEM specs?
Teins lowers front more than back 1.02/0.98 and not as stiff as Espeirl
Espeirl 1.3 all around? i hear it lowers the back more than the front?

my aplication is an 04 ap2 oem wheels oem shocks DD, no tracking

I would suggest a search but here are my thoughts. Both brands are very good. The Teins are a more mild drop but the espelier's are indeed a bit stiffer. The drops may vary depending on how the springs settle.

As far as your alignment goes, you can set that up anyway that you like, S2K's have camber adjustment. I opted for the Tanabe GF210 (nice 1" drop (perfect for crappy Chicago roads), and slightly firmer springs rates from stock) and I have the euro spec aligment. I found that the Tanabe's are a good combination of the S-Techs (drop) and the Espelier (spring rate). Car handles great.

I have the espelirs and there is no issue using this car as a daily driver. I even have an x-brace and exhaust, both of which slightly decrease ground clearence by themselves. You just need to know how to take driveways, speed bumps, ect... and also know when something is simply not a good idea to cross. A couple of times I've been in a driveway and actually did a U-turn to avoid a speed bump... but those moments are few and far apart.

The alignment is okay after the drop, the car handles better now than stock. It's finally been two weeks and the springs have settled, so I'm making an apointment to get a new alignment done. I've heard from various sources that US spec alignment can be hard to achieve afterward, but the UK spec is usually pretty easy. I imagine some of this has to do with the variables that will differ car to car... either way, you should be able to bring your camber back into a spec that won't increase tire wear by very much.

Like I said, you need to make sure you'll willing for a little bit of a trade-off. Having a lowered car isn't nearly the huge deal I expected... you just need to realize your limits and not drive down 45 degree driveways simply because there is someone waiting behind you. 99% of the time, all you need to do is take driveways slowly at an angle, and speed bumps at a crawl. It becomes second nature very quickly. I'd do it again for sure.
