The windshield in my last S looked like it had been sandblasted when driving into the sun.

My windshield is pitted to hell. Last owner must like rallying or something.

Three little words........"Discount for Cash?" I replaced windshields in the wife's truck and Grand Marquis last summer. Price quoted was $240 each. I asked, "Discount for cash?" Paid $200 each. Try it.

I was glad when my windshield cracked. I replaced it with a fresh one (PGW) at a local shop for well under $200.

I have an '05 and it's the same way. I don't think it's stones, etc. because this is so universal, and stone damage would not be so evenly distributed across the entire surface of the windshield!
We have a no fault window replacement law in Fl so I'll eventually get mine replaced. Plus I have a friend who works for Safelite!!

Actually, it would be unless you have been doing something to focus the stone hits in certain areas.
