every single passenger struggles......
The rubber molding seems to flex and creak when I push on it, so I avoid doing that.
Maybe, if they wanted to attract the older buyer, they should have molded assist handles into the A-pillars.
BTW, just turned 58, I'd rather have fingerprints on the car from "inappropriate" exit than drive a Buick.

This discussion reminds of the old Top Gear episode where the S2000 is in a comparison test involving short-skirt clad women and a lot of pixelating. According to that experiment, there are other roadsters less convenient for passengers to enter/exit.
Usually no passenger in my s2k.
But when i do have passenger, they usually make the same mistake of putting their legs on the bar in the middle of the floor.
Then they will say my car is too small.
But then again, those passengers only drives sedan or SUV I guess they are just not used to it.
I have 6'5 220 "car person" sat in my passenger seat and told me it fits just fine. lots of leg space.
Whatever it is, DO NOT SMASH MY DOOR. I have a friend that did this to my s2k this morning.

My biggest pet peeve is the slamming of the door. Whenever anybody gets out they always slam the door. I don't understand it. Maybe everybody is used to big American cars where the only way to close them is to put some body weight behind it. I don't know, but it sounds like the door panel is going to come off when I hear that thing slam shut. Then there is the "I'm sorry" right afterwards. I've had the S for 5 years and you'd think that my friends & GF (ex now) would figure it out lol.
Finger prints can be wiped off. I always have closed my door by the plastic trim on the top of the door but, as stated above, it will creak and actually has gotten loose from me doing this all the time.

It's funny to read that every car enthusiast makes a pet peeve of passengers slamming their doors. The Acura Legend Coupe had door suckers that would electronically latch the doors. In effect, you could never leave the door latched but ajar. As a result, everyone loathed passengers that would slam the doors. In spite of passenger barbarities, I'll be damned if every high mileage car didn't have a broken driver side door sucker.
That said, the first person to close the seat belt buckle in the passenger door gets a Slapsgiving.

I have owned a half a dozen roadsters and take delivery of my S2000 later this week. Every single one that I've owned I've had someone complain. I don't personally care that much. The few that have liked them have truly enjoyed them.
The only extent I care about my passenger is that they're buckled in and safe -- in the rare occasion that I actually have one. I didn't buy a two seater sports car for my passenger. I bought it for me.
