Everyone keeps trying to race me
I get tailgated by beat-up utes/pickups/trucks/bakkies (circle as relevant for your region) on a regular basis, but generally all my driving is out in the hills, alone, with no other traffic around so it's not an issue. Yay for living in the middle of nowhere!
My secret of succes is:
I only race Mazda Miatas, Trabants, Yugos, Smarts and Toyota Aygos. Sure thing and i feel soooo great.
Honestly, if you do drag race, you have the wrong car.
Some people are stupid beyond belief.
I remember often youngsters try to race me with their 1.6 Liter 75 HP Golf MKII. While i was waiting for green light. Sitting on my Kawaski Ninja 900 / Suzuki Gsxr 1100.
My honest laughing in their direction make them even more angry and serious to race me.
Best one was a rusty, old 2.0 Liter Opel with the saturday night gang. Driver and his girlfriend on the front seats, 3 boys on the backseat. Weigth-to power ratio as its best. Truly a race car. Windows down, loud euro dance music. The moment as i asked myself: "Where is the hidden camera? Must be a staged joke for a TV show.." I was sitting on my 1200 Kawasaki. I did my best to keep a straight face, but it was impossible.
Note for me: I need a mirror visor for my helmet.
