I really never get challenged to race in the S2k.

If you want attention/race challenges, get a Viper. Every time I drive that thing, someone wants to race. Every time...

I don't ever get challenged in the s either. Plus, it's not fast light to light.

Why would someone want to race a Viper? Seems like a good opportunity to get made to look a fool!

Teens and twenty-something in mom's Accord always try for it. They'll eventually get us all killed, and that scares me.

A RSX-S or 8th gen Si with a tune and some bolt ons will easily take us. I think people think the S is faster than it really is because the way it looks. Cant imagine how badly we would lose to a 10th gen Si with a tune and bolt ons.

you’re probably right but if you’re worried about these things maybe a S2k is not for you....seems like you’re all about drag racing...

Exactly. THIS is the S2000 playground for Racing. Not straight away from a redlight.

You dont race a viper or something like it to win. You do it to see and hear it go.

I just ignore them, I don't even look in their direction to acknowledge their existence lmao. But it rarely happens to me, which I am kinda surprised since my car is fairly modded and I lived in central FL, and currently SoCal.

Just make sure you're not going 55mph in 4th gear if you're trying to win
