im new to the s2000 scene, i was listening to sound clips of exhausts over at s2000library.com and ive narrowed it down to 2 that i like, the hks hiper and the comptech. i like the comptech's deeper throatier sound but i like the hks sound when it peaks at x rpm's. any advice either way? comptech is more expensive obviously. is there any more sound clips of either one out there?

 

dont go by sounds you hear on a computer.

Is that much money worth the 0-4 hp increase? If you just want sound, get a CAI.

I love it! Great sound, albeit a bit loud, but awesome power especially for the relatively cheap price (compared to the alternatives such as Toda, J's, etc.)

 

go with the comptech...its a real quality piece,and looks close but much better looking than stock

 

Fujitsubo is pretty nice also. More quiet than ones such as Invidia and Espelir

I'm waiting for my Canon S80 to arrive this week so sometime this week I'll try to get a nice video of it online (don't have a digital camcorder ) Haven't seen too many really good videos of the 70mm so hopefully it'll help.

 

which exhaust has more weight and more gains? the hks or comptech. im adding a k&n drop in filter if that matters at all as far as exhaust sound goes. i really like the deep loud revs at low rpms on the comptech from the vid on s2000library.com but i also like the way the hks sounds driving away and twoard people. i cant decide...

 

Think about the drone, also think about the daily drive with the drone. You'll get sick of that drone if you value your hearing. Get Mugen. =)
