Which exhaust is the best???!!!
I really want to change the exhaust system on my S. I am looking for an exhaust that will add some horses but i DO NOT like the loud noises!!! I like nice racing noises that arent loud at all. Which is the best, and if you have some sites, i would really appreciat it.
Thanks alot

just remember when you modify your car you're sacrificing something to gain something else. since performance gains are mostly minimal on exhaust system, it all comes down to personal preference to sound and setup. the best way is to contact your local S2K owners and see/hear them for yourself. video clips are nice, but they usually don't do justice.

also, if you can't stand noise, keep the stock exhaust. the next best option in terms of sound is Mugen ($1500), which is *relatively* quiet - and though power gain on it is minimal at best, it does save you ~25 pounds of dead weight.
from the dyno at kingmotorsports it looks like only a 3-4 hp gain @ 6500 rpms...only like 1-2 at peak. I dont care if the thing weighs 24 pounds but for that little gain and $1500 your getting ripped...Wait thats what Mugen does....just my .02
None of the exhausts for the S2000 are going to give you big HP gains. Don't expect anything more than just a few ponies.
On paper, the Mugen appears to be a nice system and when you consider it's use of titanium, weight savings over the stock exhaust (and all other dual-outlet systems), and the fact that King Motorsports is the only Mugen distributor in the country, you can see why it's so expensive.

There are lots of old threads on this. I have and LOVE the sound of the Neuspeed. There's some controversy over HP effects, but it sounds awsome and is not too loud. I think it's about 15-18 lbs. lighter than stock. Costs $838 delivered from Mingster, lots less than Mugen.

This is a link to my favorite, it has a carbon kevlar silencer(i.e., muffler) http://www.racingcraft.com/mls-carbonkevlar.shtml
I believe the company is MLS.

There are a few systems which perform better than others as my Tanabe Racing Medalion dyno'd just over 9hp peak above 8K but the majority of the gain was in the 5-7hp range. Lots of homework to be done here.
