There will be gains, but not enough to feel per say.

so... the idea is theres no significant gain unless you have the headers?
i was considering getting headers before the exauhst... guess i'll just wait to get them at the same time since one is useless wihtout the other... right?
NO NO NO! lol

no header involed

headerback exhaust-70mm (2.75")loud and most horsepower (no cat)expect anywhere from 10-15hp

a single catback exhaust 63mm (2.5") exhaust-expect 4-7 hp and yes you will notice a difference. also lighter by about 25lbs than stock

a dual exhaust-dont expect any gains just weight savings but better sound

hope that helps

I just dyno'd my car yesterday at skunk2 for a upcoming power pages for super street magazine. I made a solid 10+whp with just the skunk2 exhaust system on my car.

Baseline-MY03 w/K&N Drop in filter dyno'd at 186whp on their superflow dyno.
With exhaust- It went to 198whp or 199whp I can't remember. This was with a stock cat also.

You can read about it once the magazine comes out. I was quite shocked from the results also. The other two parts were a 5 zigen header and AEM EMS tuned by Dr. Charles using the 1052 basemap. I don't want to ruin the suprise of how much power it ended up making so be sure to pick up the magazine! =)

A part II might be coming soon also with the skunk2 cams and maybe intake and test pipe? We will see...

Thats good news for Invidia owners as well since the Skunk2 exhaust is simply an Invidia V1 rebadged.

you do realize that 70mm= 2.76 INCHES. 70mm has proven time and again to make the most power. i make +7rwhp +4rwtq OVER my old spoon(60mm) singe.
