Not sure I did anything, but please make sure that the mufflers are indeed able to be rebuilt prior to doing and drilling. If you bought this system new and they are intended to be rebuilt, they should have come with such instructions.

I would hate to see you have a mess on your hands...

so get a custom staright pipe bent at alocal exhaust shop, thats not wise at all to tear down ur mufflers, one I would presume they r gonna leak when u re assemble them, and two why put all the energy and effort into it when u can get a pipe bent at an exhaust shop for 40$ or less depending upon the application, length and size of tubing.
