I'd rather go to Home Depot and make my own using squared rain gutters and make my own custom exhaust.

I'd then weld a good ol' Maxwell Coffee Can powdercoating it black as my tip. If budget allows, I'd go with 2 Hills Bros. coffee cans.
Those coffee cans will last you about 45 minutes of hard running. Better have some spares

Just have a shop cut out your existing resonator and replace it with a straight section and be done with it. It'll save you a few pounds, bring the sound level up just enough so you'll be able to hear the engine better on rev-matched (heel & toe) downshifts....and at around $50 you can spend the rest of your budget on a Driving School and / or beer

if you dont care about power gains, the HKS hi-power does look/sound good. but you wont gain anything in the HP department.

I agree^^ I used to have the HKS and it sounded great....switched over to Comptech and love it also...the Comptech sounds more like a race car should..the HKS is more mild in comparison and oh so soothing to almost any car enthusiast.....for $100 more than the HKS you can get the Comptech which is full SS and has beautiful welds (as far as welds go )....the HKS has mild steel piping and the welds look like a blind person did them with a sotering(sp) gun

What is that dead-end pipe that sticks off the exhaust before the resonator?
