stock exhaust looks great and all, but it's just too damn heavy and restrictive. have you seen how small the exhaust pipes are? honda just wanted to keep the noise and emissions down.

Which one would you rather have? J's or Amuse R1000?

Wow, I am surprised no one really compared all the exhausts. What are you going for

- BHP gain (top, mid, low range?)?
- LB-FT gain?
- Sound volume?
- Sound tone?
- Low Droning?
- Not going to get pulled over by the cops every 2 days (cough, Amuse, cough)?

There are a lot of choices jsut like there are a lot of cars. Everyone has different rankings on the criteria above. My priority is deep, not too loud, dual (looks better to me), sports car sound. Very few exhaust yield noticable gains over the OE exhaust so I'd say forget about power unless you're spending crazy money or going with forced induction.

Check out my site http://s2000library.com (and I'm hosting a new video of a turbo S2000 at http://s2000library.com/turbo/ if you're interested). Click the top link on the site for a comparison of 12 or 14 different exhausts with controlled measurement and exhaust volume readings. I have pretty much every exhaust on there so you can see and hear them for yourself.

(BTW: for my priorities, and with price factored in, it is no contest -- the Fujitsubo Dual Legalis R is by far the best choice [and coolest sounding exhaust note].)

I have J's N1

J's have a new lineup of single exhausts(titanium).

Single exhausts make the most HP.
