I just got the invidia but havn't installed it yet. You guys have me worried about the sound. I bought because it was said to be "throaty" rather than loud. Am I going to have to run with silencers? How loud is loud?

 

 

I know this is a totally different car but I think it felt better when I had my silencer in, on my Supercharged Integra GSR. Sure at WOT the top end power felt somewhat better with no silencer but the bottom end suffered a great deal. While with the silencer on, top end was hardly compromised for all the amount of bottom end I gained back The car gets around town much better with a little back pressure. With no silencer, it makes a car with no bottom end toque feel even more

 

so then to answer your question, yes, there is a difference.

How much do u folks think the cost of silencer would be??

most loud exhausts come with silent tip inserts as part of the exhaust kit.

About $30 bucks. My brother's Silencer flew off on the Freeway. I bought him a new one for X-mas. It was $30 even.
