Exhaust from tailpipes when car is off?
To the point. You know when its cold out and you can see the exhaust fumes/smoke from the tips when the car is running, much like your breath when its cold out...is it normal for the exhaust to still do this some after the vehicle is shut off?
Im In NC and its our cold season, about 20-30 degrees...I let the dog out about a minute after I parked, and while watching him I caught the exhaust out of the corner of my eye...it was still slightly smoking (or whatever the term for visible fumes is) so I smelled it to see if it was just condensation melting from the hot tips, etc., and it had the regular burnt fuel smell.
Did I learn something new today, or is something wrong with the car?
I searched and didnt find anything on the topic.

The exhaust system is still full of hot gasses after you shut off the car, and convection will tend to pull them out the tailpipe.
