I need to re-glue this part in the picture. It is cause the stitching on the outside to come lose. Any ideas for what glue to use to fix this?

glad it all worked out.

you can use any upholstery contact cement to glue the material in place.

I didnt think Modifry was the same as Moddiction? I got the straps too for replacing in the future. Surprisingly the straps on my 08 seem to be holding ok for now.

We recommend you use 3M auto weather stripping adhesive (in black) which can be found in any auto parts store.

Tape off the area which you do not want any glue to touch.

Apply glue to both sides of the area to be reattached, with a smooth brush. Do this when top is dry, not wet.

When the glue is tacky, smooth out the area.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thanks.

Subject: Soft top coming apart

Hi,

I have a 2007 Honda s2000 and the soft top seems to be coming apart. I noticed on the outside the stitching is becoming loose on both sides. On the inside I noticed the cause. Is there any type of glue you would recommend I use to repair this issue?

Thank you for any advice you may give.
For anyone else looking for answers who may one day run into the same problem as me. I will try this, this weekend

I just had my new ez top put on. And now when I got anywhere above about 68 the whole back window shakes and the back part of the top is shaking. It sounds like the window is going to fall out. Any suggestions?
