F1 versus S2000
it sais cool things like when you let go of the accelerator pedal in an F1 car there is as much braking force as an NSX at full braking. and under braking there is a maximum of 4.5 g's.
and otherthings like at high rpm's the 3litre engine swallows 4litres of air. and 600 litres of air is needed per second at 19000 rpm.

I read the article and it is a very interesting comparison between the S2000 and a Honda F1 car. The only difference is the S2000 has A/C, headlights, a lighter and costs millions less.

Don't get me wrong. I love my S2000 as much as anyone on this board. But to suggest that those things are the "only difference" between it and an F1 car is a bit silly. In spirit, sure. In real-world performance, not even close.

Um, and has much less horsepower, weighs much more, has much narrower tires, less powerful brakes, etc.

We have a great car... but it isn't even remotely close to an F1 car. Maybe some of the same engineering tricks, and maybe our car is "inspired" by the F1, but that's about where it stops.
