Default f20 and b series?

I know this question has to be really stupid, but i was really curious. When referring to a B series motor, what does the B stand for?18c[what is the c for?] and what does the f stand for? thanks

C is usually reserved for the most maxed out version of a series of engine...
B18C for Integra Type-R
F20C for S2000

the F20B is on the Accord Sir-Torneo and makes like 200hp

I guess that makes sense but the GS-R is the B18c1 and the Type-R is the b18c5. So yea.. the more performance oriented cars...

The f20b is no joke...my good friend had one imported here and put it into his 95 accord coupe...that sucker is quick...when i frist got my S he was keepin pretty close to me, if not a bumper ahead.....then i learned how to drive the S....and well, lets just say the tables turned very quickly!

that's actually a good question. I'm sure Honda put some thought into they naming schema. I wander what it was though.

I didn't know there was a F20b. Show's how little the US market is.

I know that b18c is type R engine and I know that F20 is our engine. What I asked is what the B and the F stands for? is it just random lettering and numbers?
