Does anyone know how to adjust the factory alarm so that the lights flash when activating/de-activating?

I had some warranty work done that required disconnecting the alarm and I'd rather adjust it myself than take it back to the dealership.

does the pressing both option and lock doors at the same time do this?
(it does turn the honk on and off)...
