"Factory" Supercharged S2K
Back in the day, dealers would offer souped up muscle cars, in the same way some dealers offered this computech S2k. Today those cars are worth much more than original, stock cars. For example, CoPo Camaro.
If you can find documentation, and keep the car unmodified from how dealer delivered it, it will probably be worth more than a normal S, once these cars become classics and go up in value.
They will go up in value. How much remains to be seen.

I think I may have washed your car when I worked at Modacar circa 2006. Same color, same story, ha ha. Old dude with a super clean comptech white/tan hardtop S2000 with more money than he knew what to do with.
so my car may have come with a dealer installed comptech supercharger. when i bought the car i tore it down went through the diff and got rid of the rrfpr called paxton to inquire on a rebuild and my s/n dates the charger to 99
it has a carb sticker on the hood and came from an acura honda dealer in new jersey though i have no proof it also has the updated plate so if it didnt come from the dealer with it the kit was installed shortly there after wish i could have talked to comptech before they split oh well about to put a 1200 on it as the car has 80k miles and i assume the charger has close to the same. stock motor was grenaded from detonation i got the stock motor and trans with the car has an 04 motor/tranny in it.one problem is i am like the 5th owner it has the comptech 4-1 header titanum strut brace comptrch brembos lower subframe brace and sparkplug cover also you can see where the blower was reclocked for the aftercooler
Yep, exactly. Nothing during the factory build, all after purchase, just dealership installed to honor warranty. It was the only sc kit that was out at the time which was CARB approved and this was a very hit and miss one on one basis with the dealership if they wanted to honer the work. So there is really nothing special about this. The reality unfortunately is these early Comptech kits had no aftercooler, no IAT cooling at all, and will run very hot, poor general performers as a result and many motors have melted down under heavy use conditions as a result. Comptech after a couple years recognized this and offered revised all base kits with an aftercooler. If the OP does have one of these early non aftercooled kits on the car, I would strongly suggest he acquire either a FMIC or aftercooler for it.
