cant say for the s2k but i bought my comptech blower from a dealer in Cali for my RSX. they were offering (from what i was told) warranty with basic kit (5 psi) and you could have it installed by them, mind you this was 6-7 years ago

look up who the selling dealer was then contact them to dig up the service history... during the PDI work order or shortly after there should be a work order to install the super charger!

That's a really good idea. I might have to do that so i have some history of it.

I can't find engine bay pics before i changed it up, probably lost forever

The owner of the white hardtop in this photo bought the car new in 2000 (?) with a supercharger already on the car. I think it supplies a modest 5 pounds of boost.

Factory and OEM are often confused. Spoilers, stakes, etc. were all dealer installed OEM parts. Not "factory." In days gone by even the radio on Hondas were dealer installed. Supercharger seems to be a single year option at some dealers.

It didn't require a new tune as it was within the AF ratios provided. It was ~5lbs of boost, you can just feel it over stock.

It wasn't factory, it was a dealership install that didn't void your warranty. There are a few around. Guy out this way has one. Can't even hear it.

Sounds ideal. Are they still available?

Supercharger "option" may have been offered only one year circa 2000 or 2001. If you can find an owner with one I'm sure they can furnish details of the supercharger, etc. There's one in the Allegheny (PA) owners group -- the white one in the photo.

Since I was in Sales for Honda(and had 3 prior years in service) I can assure everyone that there were 0 S2000's supercharged from the factory. It is possible to have a dealer install a supercharger and it is the dealer's discretion to keep the warranty in place. Obviously something that would need discussed before an installation. I can also tell you that the dealer I worked at(in service) did 2 Comptech S/C kits on cars while I was there and both were done with the factory warranty being upheld. The NSX is very likely the same.
