Hey guys I wanted to start modifying my S but its still covered under factory warranty and I don

 

I would check the paperwork, but basically you cannot modify or replace any of the components under the hood.

 

Depends on how stringent your local dealer is. You're at their mercy... which is not a great position to be in.

 

From what I have heard there isn't much that will blantantly void a warranty. However, if the dealer could in any way relate your modification to something that went wrong then they won't fix it. So if you change your exhaust and your top rips you should be alright. However if your engine blows they could just claim your exhaust did it somehow. I have heard of some pretty crazy ways they relate things so its a risk.
