I just got my 02 s2k and it came with the certified warranty but i do want to change the exhaust out to a blitz realize tt cat back. I spoke with a service writer and he told me that it will void my entire warranty. Is that true? How could an exhaust void the warranty for the electrical stuff? Did you guys upgrade and still get warranty work through the dealer? thanks

 

the aftermarket part has to be directly linked to the oem part that broke. if you have an exhaust and ur top rips, then its not the exhaust's fault your top ripped. however if you modify your engine and you develop an oil leak, then they can deny the claim. basically they have to honor a warranty unless you did something or added an aftermarket part that damaged or could have damaged the oem part in question.
