Allegheny S2000 Club will also be represented. I will be there, sans wife.

If it is half as good as last year, it will be a success. Please include me in any correspondance.

Having a son who attends RPI in Troy, NY, my wife and I travelled from Colorado to see him play ball and the Fall Colors during the first two weeks of October over the last two years. The Fall Colors peaked on the 12th around the Albany, Troy, Schenectady area. Further north, the week earlier. I would think that going the 5th or 12th would be fairly safe. By the 19th you are chancing it. But then again it depends on the first frost and how cold the nights are.

My wife and I had thought about driving our S2000 out from Colorado... but then again, maybe we will just fly and then see everyone there. Maybe I am getting too old. In my younger days I used to drive an Opel GT all over the US and Mexico!!!

I am planning on being there. The 5th is probably a better weekend, as the weather tends to get funky later in Oct.

Wouldn't it be a great idea to have a mini-fall colors route planned to go with the appalachian trail. That would be a good way to drive up. We can have people start from the bottom, and meet at specific locations along the trail to convoy all the way up to NY.

here is a
link for those who want to see what it looks like.

BTW, count me in..
