Yep. That was him. Big time now. I think he writes for Modified Magazine now. Used to contribute to SuperStreet too (this might have been a while back, can't remember for sure). Roja Wheels is his. Last time I heard he was on the race circuit too.

Oh. And remember when Battle of the Imports first started and there was a yellow fixed up Odyssey rolling around. That was his mom's car!

His brother had a sweet blue MR2, done up super clean. Featured in SuperStreet, won a ton of awards.

I'm telling you, his family is amazing. This stuff is in their blood.

I liked F&F for what it was, entertaining. I was never bored when i saw it, sure the script sucked, but tech talk was all wrong, but it was still damn entertaining.

As for Point Break....

Is it just me or is Keanu Reves standing just like David Hasslehoff there.
Come to think of it, I've never seen both of them in the same room together.

FF2 was not as entertaining as part 1. Part 3 supposedly has "drifting" (new popular craze) setting is in Japan and Vin comes back. Wonder if there will be an S2k also?

You guys can try to be as cool as you want. But when the first movie came out it was not half bad and many of the trends in it were very popular. Of course times change and FF2 was nothing but a cash cow.

Still it drives me nuts that so many people act like the trends in 1998 were never "cool" when at the time you were using words like "fat" and "da bomb" about half the cars in the movie.
100% and when the third one comes out all the haters will be the first in line lol

as for suki! IMO

Had I not seen F&F, I probably still wouldn't know what the hell an S2000 was. No lie. After seeing the movie I wanted to buy an import and fix it up. I was 35 at the time and had never owned an import other than the '62 VW bus I bought when I first joined the Marine Corps in '85.

IT'S A FRIGGIN' MOVIE FOLKS!!! Let it go!!! Whether you like it or not, that first movie changed the import scene, for better or worse. Fact is, it brought huge exposure to the companies that got into the movie. And some of the lines are timeless!

And for the record, the "FF2" in my screenname is not for the movie. At the time I purchased my S(Aug 10, 2002), I was big into fire fighting. I'm a level II fire fighter in the state of Virginia. I had to clear that up 'cause the second one did suck. I have to admit though, I'd love to try the freeway stunt of swerving the car, e-braking, and shifting into reverse. That would be a rush... or expensive!!!
