One guy above said that "extra rpms" above 6k wouldn't cause clutch slippage. NOT TRUE!

Burned up my clutch that way with 9k miles on the car.

That is probably from the CDV on the AP2s. Bringing the revs higher in a car with no CDV will not induce clutch slippage.

only did it once, but it felt fine...

everyone has said that as long as you're getting wheelspin it is *probably* fine. keep in mind though that even people who do this regularly have dropped their diffs on the ground doing launches (do a search and you'll find plenty)... so be careful
