HI I was wondering the fastest time any S2000 owner ran on the 1/4 mile all motor wise and what mods were done to the car.
I personally ran a 14.3 @99 mph with just a HKS exhaust.

Your 13.8 pass was that stock and aT WHAT MPH, and I launch at 7000 rpm.

I thought that the S2000 was supposed to do high 13s in the 1/4 mile...at least that's what they said in SCC...

what rpms do u drop the clutch at...? I only have 500 miles on mine...can't wait til i go to the track

 

with 500 miles I think you should tone it down a little. I'd wait about 1500 in town miles before I started drag launching my car. Clutches need a good deal of break in time. I have no time slips but I clocked a 13.8 on a G-TECH. I only have an APEXi V-AFC. I'm pretty confident I can beat that by a little though. I'm on 17" yokohama 520s too. I'll keep you posted. I'm going to Atlanta on Monday So I'm hoping to get a chance to run there some place. BTW I dumped the clutch @7000rpms. Sounds bad but even though it spun the hell out of my tires, it yielded the best time.

 

nonono...I am waiting til 1300 miles...just like I did for my celica...

I redline a gear every time I hit another 100 miles...that's the way I broke in my celica...and I ran a 14.8 stock in that thing...book was 15.1...
