The fastest S2000s
Yup. AMS Evo. 9.4x before the latest modifications. 900awhp for the last dyno.
As for making an S2000 run 3.0 0-60, it's not going to be too street friendly. I envision major rear suspension revisions, lots of drivetrain work and some big meats.

We have S2000's that run 10's and make something in the 850whp range. Are there any street legal EVOs doing that?
Like I said on Honda-tech, everyone belive ANYTHING they are told

here's the thing that Vishnu claims to do:
they claim to have researched and proved all of these upgrades
and they package it all together
ready to go
boom, and the intall facility is in CA... i can freakin drive there
i'm envious
i'd pay 5k to have a 550hp S2000 that uses mods that have been tested and proven for reasonable reliability
i want to keep using my car as a daily driver, so constantly screwing with a one-off custom turbo setup sounds crappy

852 rwhp, actually. I'm looking at the magazine right now. It makes more hp coming off idle than a comptech supercharged machine makes at peak.
i'd LOVE to read about the godzilla of S2000s
so would many others
superstreetonline.com for some reason doesn't have it anywhere on their website that I can find, but I'm looking at the article on paper as I write this. Go figure.
The owners name is Chris Houg.
Among many things, he's got an F20C Earl Lasky stroker kit pushed out to 2.5L, a GT40R turbo, and - get this - 1200cc injectors. Says he used a full tank of C18 race gas in less than fifteen minutes at the photo shoot.
If I had to guess this is probably one of the most unreliable S2000's as well. Sounds like it's a ticking timebomb.

woah dude, i'm pretty sure the owners of the cars in the magazines actually drive their cars. i don't think people gut their interiors and stuff to go to the car shows
