Very interesting. I'd also love to see your code you used for this. I've worked with Matlab several times with school and it never seizes to amaze me what it can do. PM sent

hmm, maybe this should go in a new thread but whatever it's late

dyno (the SC one is from the comptech w/ AC, or you can just call it generic 300 whp SC)

effective torque at the wheel in each gear (look at how the SC torque curve slope up to redline in each gear )

0-60 (onces the SC hits boost, it's over )

quarter mile (SC car catches the geared car at around 6 seconds

and a 300 whp ap1 is not gear limited, as shown here. stock ap1 is drag limited to around 155 as shown here.

I think a lot of people would like to see a 4.57 S/C versus 4.10 S/C since this is a popular combo.

That's one of the things I really love about the centrifigual blower. In the lower gears, acceleration actually increases with increasing speed, and combined with the screem going to 9k it feels like the thing is never going to run out of power. Since the acceleration doesn't drop off as redline approaches I found that a shift beeper helped me stay off the rev limiter.

What you are showing here is the kind of thing I was talking about before. It doesn't matter one bit that your results lack absolute accuracy, because they're obviously good enough to let us see what's going on.

Very nice work.

In a pull from 6k the supercharged car just runs away and hides.

Hahaha, I told you guys earlier that my car would pull to redline in sixth (with the top down!). However, even with stock gearing that would not be 170 MPH. I also think 155 is a little high for a stock AP1 (assuming a flat road, standard pressure and temperature, etc.).

The boost is building as you approach redline, and you notice it even in sixth. Makes for a pretty exciting ride.

LOL, turbos are quicker, but MAN do I ever love the way boost builds with the centrifigual blower.
I hit 153 when it was stock on a flat road in my AP1...stock gearing would run out at 168mph if it werent drag limited
