I run it as a daily driver AND a weekend racecar. I expect it to be reliable. It has plenty of trunk space for day-to-day stuff. Stock suspension is suprisingly compliant and rarely harsh. Interior is plush and comfy compared to my other commuter vehicle (motorcycle).

Has been my daily driver for 17 mos. but must add a caveat, that it is kept in a garage at work and at home, no problems.

Sounds like a poll would be easiet to follow, though that might have been done?

I use the S2000 as a daily driver and it really has been enjoyable. Purchased 10/99.

Traded a Civic Si in for the S2k daily driver. Days like today can't wait to drive home (sunny & 63), although I might have to take the long way.

Drove my Land Cruiser for the first time in two months yesterday. I got about two miles down the road, turned around went home parked it and took the s2k. That's the last time I'll make that mistake.

I've generally found that if people need a ride somewhere they have their own car.

I can't imagine not driving this as a daily driver at this point. Maybe if I were 100 and looking to carry golf clubs around with me, but it works great for a gym bag and brief case.

Used over 1 1/2 year as a daily driver, only issue is blind spots with the top up.

My wife has been doing it for over a year.
Her commute is about 40-70 miles each way.
She drove through rain, ice, snow, bumper to bumper traffic and blizzard.
She has no problem with it. Do you think you can handle that?
If it snows in your area, just change to snow tires in the winter and put extra weight in the trunk.

Are you kidding me? S2K is perfect for me as my daily beater for the last 16 months. BTW, it also cuts down my commute time

I have another car as a daily beater, but I find that as the weather gets more and more enjoyable, the beater just sits there. I tell myself in the morning that I must take the blazer but when I walk outside, I find myself heading to the garage with the stook in it. I can't help it, im sorry! geez
