I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Feel's intake... I was looking for something to replace my spoon duct, but didn't want any usdm companies... I see the headsheild/guide, but would there be any gain without a hood with a heat extractor? Anyone have anything to say?

With the heat shield it should only suck in cold air. It looks pretty sweet to me, just expect it to be a lot louder than stock (or that spoon thing).

 

Unless it come with other parts that are not shown in the picture, it's a hot air intake all the way. Only real difference from the Injen short intake (known to loose hp) is the metal plate, which I doubt it accomplishes anything other than making the air passing through the air filter even hotter. It's like putting the air filter on a bbq grill - why do they want that?

I've got to imagine it was engineered to run with their hood, which has a heat extractor in the approximate area where the intake lies... guess I'll wait till I buy my hood maybe? anyone else have any thoughts?
