Default Spoon air duct

I was wondering if anyone has seen any real gains from the spoon style or any similar style air duct?

A cold air duct is not to give you more power, it is to let you keep the power you have. Cold air is denser vs hot underhood air temp. The map sensor retards the timing based on intake air temp in the intake manifold, hotter the air intake, the more retard.

+ At speed,it will give a slight positive pressure,in your intake box=slighty more power.!
Not in psi,but in "inches of water"

this man speaks the truth. maybe if you combine with a hiflow filter like kn you will see some marginal gains

I use to have a Spoon duct. All I can say is that I felt much better throttle response and freeway speeds definitely felt a lot smoother. If you can get a hold of a cheap replica, I'd say go for it.

i don't know if you're the type of person who would just as soon diy but this can be done easily...I have a k&n with some diy ducting and feel throttle response is nice...haven't dyno'ed so who knows for sure

I've done it two ways the round ducting works best but I had a flat wider duct at first that was just fine too

oh and here it is after you hit a wall real hard....
