Fiancee hit front bumper on parking stone
#22
When I went to test drive my car, it was parked with the front chin sitting on a low curb I mean COME ON! First thing I did when I got the keys was carefully back off the curb and inspect the damage. Luckily the curb was just the right height that it was only slightly scratched underneath with no visible damage to the front.

without reading all the replies I'm sure it's already been said.
Do you really want to marry someone who is going to drive YOUR car drunk and hit things? oke:

I've not found a parking stone that I could park the S2k up against (head in).
I ALWAYS park my car tail in for this reason. Recently, while on a lift, I noticed some scraping on the bottom of one of the muffler cans! Better the muffler than the chin of the car for sure.
I agree completely with what someone else posted that today's parking stones are incompatible with today's road cars. They are simply too high; possibly designed to stop trucks.
I've seen way too many really nice, modern cars perched atop parking stones. I say perched because there is no way the front tires are the only thing touching the stone. The car's chin is driven up onto the parking stone.
