Default film?

i'm going on short road trip soon and the last trip i took in the S, the front got dinged up from all sorts of crud - not to mention all the bugs I had to clean off (if anyone lives in the missouri-southern il area then you know what it's like to drive around at night in the country side... I thought it was raining one time but it was actually a ton of bugs bouncing off my car. i know 3m makes that clear film you can protect your paint with, but does anyone know if there are any cheap temporary alternatives? When new cars get shipped around, there is a cheap white film that is stuck to the car... I'm wondering if that can be bought on the net.

thanks

That would buy a lot of blue masking tape (OP is looking for a temporary solution).

Clear bra is a great thing not the easiest to install if you have never done it and have it look good on the car. Installation can be pricey but it is the difference between a seemless look or one that looks terrible.
