Well, I finally got my first oil change. I know that according to the manual, the car requires a first oil change after 7500 miles, which I still think is way too long. The severe condition schedule says 3750 but I figure I do considerable highway driving when going to my parents' house and I don't VTEC often. I bought the car with 2200 miles so I roughly changed the oil @ 5300 miles. However, from now on I will change it every 3 - 3500 miles. I got up early this monrning and bought the K&N oil filter because last night I found out that Honda didn't sell me the PCX filter. I figured my dealership would have known since this has been discussed for a while now and the dealerships were notified. Actually the oil filter that was in my car when I got it was the wrong filter. My next oil change I will switch to synthetic. Make sure you guys get the right filter. If you can't get the PCX, get the K&N.
