Default Finally.. i know whats wrong w/ my car.

seriously lack of performance lately.. more then i can attribute to houston humidity.

the engines been seeping oil out of the top valve cover, oil cap, and dip stick.. i just got the oil changed.. they filled it right to the H.

anyone know why it would do this? has it happened to anyone else?

I had my valve cover gasket replaced at about 2 months old, as mine was seeping oil there, but no problems anywhere else. They said it was a faulty gasket.

This doesn't explain what's happening to you though, so talk to your dealer on Monday....

It sounds like it was overfilled with oil.

I had a place put more then a quart too much into my old ford probe. When I would step on the gas it felt like the car was driving through mud. I stopped and had another place change it and all worked fine afterwards.

Really sounds like an overfill condition. The lack of performance is from cavitation of the oil. When overfilled the crankshaft whips air into the mix. The air in the oil reduces oil pressure and hence the decrease in performance.........
