Default Finally, a short shifter/short shift kit?!

Check this out, courtesy a friend of mine in Hong Kong:

Anyone know a C's dealer stateside, or anyone Japan care to start sending some of these over?! Looks to me like a 30% reduction in throw and .5s off 0-400 times. I'm more interested in a shorter stick than throw, but compared to a Miata or B&M-equipped C5, we could certainly use a little shorter throw.

With the Voodoo lowered knob the throws of my shifter are shorter than some light switches. I cannot see any gain with a even shorter throw.

What's the "Voodoo" knob? I shortened the stock lever, but could only remove about 1/4" before the stock knob bottomed out. I like the heft (height) of the stock knob, though, and don't care to go with one any smaller. I had been hoping B&M would come out with a Ripper for the car.

It is a counterbored knob that does not use the jamb nut. It is also a sphere which I much prefer for a gearshift.

Hmmm... I've got one, at least a generic one- had it on the car for a while, was a little too phallic-looking for me. that, and I just don't care for the sphere (yeah, a shaft is MUCH less phallic ).

Have you ridden in a late-model Miata? The stick is about 2-3 inches on top of the boot and is all knob. And comparing the throws in our car to a C5 with the B&M, we've probably got a good 100% or more increased travel.

I have to second the Voodoo knob. Amartin has one and I loved it when I drove his S2K. It was only $26 so I will be getting one if I end up keeping my S2K.
