Stock skidpad is ~.83(?) and the bilstien option takes it to .91 g. You can now option for BFG K-Force tires which I'm sure would improve the handling, but not sure how much. I somewhat agree with Sev, the course with tight corners, or decreasing radius turns leading into straights goes to the F-body due to the torque. The sweeping turns would advantage the S2K. With the SLP options though, the field is definitely tipped towards the F-body regardless of the track. Good news (or bad news depending on your persepective), there aren't too many SLP optioned cars out there in the grand scheme of things. Stock vs. stock, I still think the better driver wins... regardless of the car in this case.

Dude........ (very long pause) either:

A) he didn't consider you competition and never got past 50% throttle

B) jumped on it out of the hole but let off and let you catch up

C) he is a poser putting a ram air hood on a V6

or

D) you have the stock Firebird hood confused as a Ram Air hood

Those "2 honking air scoops" tells me that is an LS1 (LT1 Ram air Trans Ams rather inconspicuous hood scoops), and it also tells me that it's either a WS6 or Firehawk. In either case it's putting AT LEAST 300 hp to the ground. I know you love your car, but it's not going to beat a 300 rwhp car no matter how redneck the guy is or how cheap the car is made or how heavy you think it is (probably weighs about 3600 lbs w/driver). Not trying to flame you, but something isn't right. I'm not saying an S2K can't beat an F-body (I was actually arguing the exact opposite on camaroz28.com about a month ago), but what I am saying is that there is no way you walked on an LS1 car. Personally I don't think an S2K will walk an LT1 car either, but it would be tight. When I say "walk", in this case I mean catch up to him after he's taken you for a few car lengths.

-flame suit is on!

P.S. I left the starsky and hutch line in the quote because even I laughed at that one!

Where did you get that information from? I've never heard that one before.
