i just saw this thread, and i cant beleive the amount of idiocy here. so many haters, but thats par for the course when someone pushes the envelope.
personally, i think this kicks ass. IF i was involved, which i wouldnt mind helping, and suggesting. this car would turn 9s all day long. BUT it will need a serious driver with some big balls, cause its gonna take some work to sort the suspension. but it can be done, and the car should go straight as an arrow.
i specialize in small short fast cars. so sliding around doesnt scare me at all, its just making sure the car can handle being driven hard under that much power.
i think with few electronics, a good stall converter, solid tune, and slicks. that engine will make good use of the ap1's too stiff rear suspension. it will turn it to butter matter of fact. and thats good, keep the car planted. make sure it gets a full roll cage though.
as for the stock versus swapped debate, who cares. yes an F22 can make 700 wheel, all day long. its already being done, just because the people dont come to this forum (because of posts like this) doesnt mean its not out there. look at some of the F22's with inline pro kit, 600+ wheel, on shitty hack tunes, and pump gas?? jeezus. this engine is capable of alot. BUT if you want a 2Jz, then get it on!
who cares what other people think, i almost specifically use my s2000 for drag racing, and because of it, and the haters on here, i have a tarnish on me. they have no idea how to setup suspension, or how to drop weight on the car. so im out snapping off vettes, GTO's, sti's, evo's etc etc. and it creates heat.
because its not what everyone else is doing. same as here, leave this guy alone. his setup is sick, and should haul ass.

Dave, 50/50 racing has a really bad rep here,and silverstwok appears to be linked (true or not). The reception has as much to do with that as the swap. And its almost a bad cliche' to put an auto tranny in an s2000. It's tempting to take the pictures, and post them later when ever someone suggest a silly idea. The caption would read "thats as stupid as putting an auto tranny in an S2000"

Silverstwok, post a video that shows a driving car and shut everyone up.

EDIT: Also, bring it to the Dragon meet this September, I'd love to see it finished, in person

Wow... some of you guys are real jerks. I wouldn't do this to my car because I think shifting is fun and i don't care about drag racing, but this car will be great at what it's being built for and the owner is going to love it.
