the engine doesnt make the car IMO. it is certainly the heart of the car, but engines can be swapped, the car remains.

Take for example a Civic. IF you put a k20 into it does the civic become an RSX? no its still a civic. If you put a S2000 motor into a Lotus does the lotus become an S2000? No that would be obsurd, The Lotus would still be a lotus except powered by something better.

Hell a Lotus with a Rover engine or a Celica engine is STILL a damn LOTUS.

So an S2000 with a F22C or even a 2JZ is still an S2000.

So silverstwok I applaud you for thinking outside the box and giving the S2000 a engine with some real balls and a driveline which can take it like a man.

Those guys are complete garbage! I personally saw what John (AKA Soul Coughing) had to go through to finally get his S2K with the ORIGINAL engine running right. He had to tow the damn thing from Florida back to Jersey because those damn guys didn't know what the hell they were doing...A complete scam! Honda/Acura technician my ass! Why do you think they are no longer on the forums? BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO BALLS TO CONFRONT THE PEOPLE THEY SCREW OVER!.................................. Sorry about that, I just get very upset when a fellow S2K owner gets raped with no vaseline like John did... Read for yourself

Except all those engines do not destroy the initial purpose of the car. IMO, swapping a 2JZ destroys what the S2000 was built for. It was never meant to be a drag car, but with the 2JZ, you can't do a whole lot more than drag race it or take it to shows.

Then maybe they might be able to explain why they ended being such dirtbags when everything was said and done ....That is if it is the OP. Last time I checked their user name was Creator 2JZ bull crap. If it is.....oh man you better put your flame suit on because I'm not the only one that feels the same way
