February 2002 sales down 4.8% vs. 2001

Does this mean better dealer prices ?

It doesn't say S2000 sales just total sales.

If you want official numbers for Honda every month you can check this website.

Wow. Not the S2K numbers (I don't WANT a lot of these sold. Exclusivity is great). But the Odyssey. What a mega hit for Honda. I'll bet the dealers shift from gauging S2K buyers to squeezing still more out of the minivan people.

That is, until the new Alabama plant comes online and demand finally meets supply.

It does show S2000, you have to scroll down. Sales were down 4.8% comparing February 2001 to February 2002.

I see the November 2001 numbers were less than 2000. I guess there's no easy way to find out if there are a few more unsold out there, or if there was a temporary reduction in shipments from Japan.

Why don't you want a lot of S2Ks sold? Don't you want the S2K to be a success?

Yeah, like the previous M5 model that was so rare that it went down the drain without making a noise.
