I don't particularly like the way MY00 and MY01 S2000's drive...they just don't feel as crisp to me as the rest of the AP1 years but that's just me. Once you learn how to really drive, take a newer one for a spin and you'll have a blast

And don't let fools bring you down...driving stick isn't easy at first and we all had to learn at some point. Any idiot can buy an S2000 and think he's popular but it takes a real person to admit what they're not great at. Good luck
i admit i dont know how 2 drive it :] even if u get the basic concepts theres small things like revving up alittle when u downshift that make your car more smooth and last longer.

When I was 17 I bought a brand new Acura TSX for almost $30K and believe me, I got no help with it. I just saved and I knew what I wanted at the time. You can make money at your age, you just have to be smart.

I thought the CR was a little pricey until I started to shop for my s car.... several dealers here in Florida were willing to part with their CR's for less than the regular edition... some of the offers were so good that I actually considered a CR but the no drop top feature killed the deal for me... got to have a top ready to go during the Florida rainy season...

I'm considering buying another CR... a used one to prepare for the track... so two, from my cheap seat, is far from pointless... keep the new one for a driver and find a not so beaten beater to build into a track car... I've owned a gaggle of cars over the years and I personally think the s cars offer a lot of bang for the buck.. great handling, relatively bullet proof, and their just fun to drive... after living with MG's, Sprites, and oh yeah, ny old 914-6 during my past lives I just can't get over the fact that you can have a sports car with air conditioning!

Yup... two s2000's seems perfectly cool to me.
No, it's still very pointless. If you're going to have a track car, it doesn't mean you can't still drive it on the road. It just wouldn't be a DD, and quite honestly the S2000 isn't a DD itself. If you can afford two cars, do the smart thing and get a car with some room in it, and especially something that can drive through any weather.

Trust me, you don't need to be concerned with that right now. Stick to the basics like getting out of first and reverse.

It's the 21st Century; if you want to share that your friends like to dress up in women's underwear, I can handle it. However, this is just too much information...
