Default First experience with "Ricks" accessories....LOUSY !!!

ok, I placed a order with "Ricks" last monday. I still havent gotten my stuff! I placed a $1500 order, Comptech exhaust and all. They never return my calls and are never there to answer the phone it seems! Ive emailed them monday and still havent heard from them! Im ticked Im very close to cancelling the order and ordering through someone else even if i have to pay more. Whats worse is i want the stuff for this friday installation for a big NE meet on sat the 24th. First impression of thier service... i understand they do this as a "side job" but if there are 3 of them, theres no excuse for not returning customers phone calls/emails! I shouldve listened to some of you guys but im stubborn. First impressions are lasting ones so they say, and im convinced Ricks stinks!

If you order comptech stuff through ricks it comes directly from comptech. Unless someone says they have what you are ordering in stock it is unreasonable to think that you will receive your items within 1-2 weeks. If this wait has upset you then you will be upset at many many sellers on this site. For instance, someone (i dont remember who) has been waiting a couple months now for his mugen hard top. In terms of trying to get in touch with them, try dropping them another email or calling them. I had nothing but a good experience dealing with Rick.

Only five business days have elapsed, and you feel the need to post a thread trashing Rick's? That seems like an overreaction to me. Maybe you should wait at least until you get their reply, or until you actually miss your deadline before you start bad mouthing them.

Rick is a friend and I have never been disappointed with his service or responsiveness. But, this is a part time venture and unfortunately someone is not waiting by the phone/computer for calls like some full time businesses. I'm sure Rick will take care of you, just be a little patient. He has helped many folks on this forum and his products are excellent. I'm sure he will take care of you soon.

PM Stratocaster. Rick's is a 1st class team. Give them a little time before you cast judgement. Comptech is in NorCal. Assuming your order shipped via UPS Ground, you are looking at 5-7 BUSINESS days from when Comptech RECEIVES the order, assuming they have it IN STOCK.

With Rick's Accessories, customer service has never been a "side job."

Let us know how this ends.

How many more threads are there going to be like this before Rick's gets a PR department going?

Satisfied customers are the best PR you can get.

Now that the flame has been posted, I guess it'll be sitting on the doorstep on Monday.

If at all possible, get a tracking number. It does a lot to help out in these cases.
