Default First Oil Change
Hey everyone, I am doing my first oil change, and am just wondering how many quarts to put in? I picked up 4, so hopefully that will cover it. Thanks for any help!

I actually bought the car used, 9k miles, it has 12 now. So I am using Mobil 1 5w 30, the previous owner used that at 9k. I just always do my changes early, like to be on the safe side.

Since you live in a warmer climate, you should probably use what Honda recommends - 10W-30.

Most folks wait 5-7k miles before doing their first oil change, but I did mine at about 3500, then at 6000 I put Amsoil synthetic in, and have never burnt a drop.
