First s2000
Hey s2ki members.
I am very new to the honda world and I am in the midst of purchasing my first Honda. I have been with Nissans, and I just wanted to start new.
I am thinking of picking up a 2000 S2k a red convertible. It has 140xxx miles but has a new engine. It has a clear title, and is currently selling for 9grand. Is that a good deal? ive seen a lot of s2k's and they are priced at around 16k in my area. Body is good, paint is good interior and exterior is very well kept. It is 6spd, and is currently all stock.
I was wondering what the maintinence on a s2000 is like.
Problems with the car?
Basically things you should know about the car.
any advice on the car is helpful
I have one week to decide whether or not to pick up this car.
Please i need your help!
Thank you
-Justin

Make SURE the engine is good? leakdown, comp tests... look for signs of abuse...listen for funny 'fluttery' noise - TCT, listen for clicking in rear when going forward/reverse - Axle nut TSB, and basically hope for the best!
for that many miles it should be a bit cheaper..
i think somewhere on here there is a BB with 85k miles? for around 9500
so im sure you could get a better deal then that with that many miles on the body..
just my opinion..
