Default First thoughts after Test Pipe install

well i can definatly tell a difference as far as power goes but....... now my car sounds like a "honda". it sounds really good when i get on it but when im just driving normal it sounds so .......rice . so, im going to keep it on, only b/c of the gains.

Test pipes sound and smell like CRAP. I had the megan on for a day and removed it right away, the tin can sound and nasty smell (which attracts cops) is definitely not worth such tiny gains.

depends on which exhaust you pait it with i guess..
if it's on the stocker it'll sound a slight bit ricey, but throw that bad boy on with an Invidia or HKS and it's a whole 'nother world

I've got the T1R 70 with a 70mm TP, and while it does sound deeper, I definitely wouldnt say it sounds ricey. IMO it depends on how you're driving it. If you stay below 3k rpm and try to accelerate, I could see what you're saying. So instead, just downshift and you're good to go.

And I love the "smell".
