Fix soft top or Get new soft top

Default Fix soft top or Get new soft top

Hey guys,


i have a 04 s2k, and it came with a 1.5 inch rip in the soft top above the left latch,


should i:



1) fix the soft top for 130 bucks ( going to look like black gum in on it) and save

my money for a oem hard top


or


2) get a new soft top, prob run me around 1200 w/ labor



wut would you do?

I would just patch it up, get a professional to do it and it will not stand out as much. Start saving up money and have some money aside just in case it does rip again youll have money for a new one.

Im in the same situation. I've already patched 2 holes as Im saving for a hardtop.

You can fix the tear yourself and save 130 dollors.

Make the fix symetrical by duplicating the look on the opposite side also.
