Thanks for sending that link--I had found that one as well and yeah, I can't get over the look...I could see myself spending $50 MAX on it just from a function perspective, but otherwise I'd prefer to just drive without the cover haha.

Thanks again!

While I agree that it has a very utilitarian look to it...definitely not designed primarily for looks...I don't find it terribly ugly either...

Seems to me it would be a good lightweight cover to prevent debris from getting into the inside of the soft top assembly...

That said, I completely agree that the price is pretty outrageous...

Yeah exactly--if I decide to give up on the OEM one I have, I may just engineer something similar myself for less money

Have you actually put it on yet? Youll probably stop worrying that it is bent after that.

Gigby is right!!

The list of folks who've put the tonneau cover on more than once is a very short list!

It's mostly folks who leave their top down all the time and thus leave the cover on.

I have yet to get mine on as it still isn't the right shape, but in a previous life I sold sports cars for a living and put several on other S2000s...it is finicky, but if I'm going to do a long day with the top down the entire time it's worth it to me.

The only time I really take it off (Besides washing the car) is taking off on a trip. I don't want to take up space in the trunk with that. I really like putting the top up or down in seconds.

Around home, however, it keeps things clean and keeps the sun damage down to a minimum. In California, that can be many months with the top down. It does look a lot nicer with the cover on.
