Flamed by a V Dubber
I'm sure everyone's been a part of, or at least has seen the wrath of the conflict between the Honda world and the Volkwagen/Audi world
I've gotten everything from middle fingers, to the occasional "VTEC THIS" euro plate.....but I can't help but wonder where it all started
now i post this topic in this forum being that I'm guessing it originated when the S2000 beat the Jetta in the Fast and the Furious .
does anyone even know how far back this drama between car enthusiasts goes?

I used to be a dubber. It's not the Fast and the Furious thing that sparked it. Honda's, as many know it, was the primary sport compact cars that import tuners modified. Following that was an influx of "ricers". Dubbers hate ricers...

There mad that VTEC is better than there turbo systems. haha
Having come from VW/Audi land, any monkey can chip to 250 hp, and for a moderate amount of money, you can be at 325 hp. And that power omes on at 1,800 rpm....
The real issue for those cars is weight, not power.

whenever i mention honda or any jap import vdubber always reply that is "Euro" thus had better qulaity and is well refined than its japan counterpart. However they should resolve there dreaded electrical issues first. I was gonna buy a GTi MKv since my wife always wanted one, but after research i ran for the hills. Anyways i believe dubbers get this mentality because their cars are euro and nothing compares to that.
