If i bought a transponder key off ebay... should I get the transponder programmed before or after implanting into this flipkey?

I posted 2 weeks ago it was working. The only issue is the rubber doesn't reach the panic button so you can't press that anymore.

I wanted to buy one off of ebay a couple of weeks ago but they were sold out. Just to let you guys know they just got more of them in. I ordered one today.

I am going to try to trim and reuse my old key(where I am taking the transponder from) to put into the flex key flip instead of getting the new one cut. I'll let you know how it turns out.
