How much capacity do i need if i want to get my 2000 and a crv to lift to a height where i could get the jack stands under and get the necessary lift....

How much lift would i need if i want to get under the car to do fluid changes .... would 1.5 ton work ? or would you go larger.... lift of more than 15in good ?
