Since everyone should be getting their 3 piece floor mats...I thought it would be good to post some kind of instruction to help you get them in the car the best way...

The driver's side is a cinch. Self-explanatory...because the cross member is flat, it's not complicated.

Now on the passenger side mat to fit/stay the best...do this. The three sections are attached by velcro, which is truly ideal. Detach the three pieces and put the the fore and aft pieces in place. then position the middle piece on the crossmember and then lift up the fore and aft pieces just enough to slip the part that attaches to the velcro on the middle section and drop the fore and aft pieces down so the velcro can stick.

Yes, that was a long sentence...but the key is to make sure to disconnect the three pieces, fashion the middle section on the crossmember so that it is snug against the length of the crossmember, then attach the other two pieces with the flaps and velcro.

You can figure it out once you see how the three sections work together...

Post your results...I'm sure you will all be pleased, they are great quality and this along with Rick's console cover are the two essential interior mods...

The post on the driver's side can stay. I actually forgot all about mine and just put the mat in on top of it. And I haven't noticed any problem or issue with it being there...

I did the same... not elegantly, though; just cut the carpet to allow post through.

Thanks Greg. All I have to do now is dig a path to my car port and then dig my car out. May be I'll wait until the thaw to install my new mats. Thanks to you, Sue and Giampiero for your work on the mats.

I removed the mat post. It's only attached with a single phillips head screw. I put in in the bag along with front license plate holder.
They're miles ahead of OEM in every way!
